This 3-part class will teach you the foundation skills you'll need to become a proficient knitter. Learn how to cast on, make a knit stitch in either English or Continental style, knit the garter stitch pattern, bind off, and weave in your ends - plus many other tips and tricks.
Your instructor will also help you wind your yarn into a ball, learn how to read a yarn label, move on to learning the purl stitch once you are comfortable, and show you how to add a new ball of yarn if you choose to extend the size of your project. This class is relaxed, fun and informative, and can help a complete novice or rusty knitter gain confidence in their skills.
After completing this course you will be ready to tackle next level beginner projects such as hats, mitts, leg warmers & blankets or jump into our !
7yrs to adult. *Children must be old enough to sit comfortably focused and intent on learning for an hour.*

Materials included:
- A pair of straight or circular knitting needles
- 1 skein of Worsted or Bulky weight yarn in the color of your choice
- 1 darning needle
