Updated in 2019... In Spring or Autumn, or in more temperate climates, our previous full fleece Leg Warmer is just too warm. Enter the Performance Leg Warmer (formerly Fleece Lite Warmer).
Made entirely from our new CS WinterFleece™ fabric these leg warmers are perfect for warmer areas to take the chill off on a cool morning ride.
Features:
- Made with our pre-dye coloured fabric.
- an incredibly lightweight and warm brushed fleece. It’s a single-sided fleece, which means that only the inside is fleece-lined. The outside has a smooth finish.
- Flat lock exposed stitch for improved fit and comfort.
- Wide black elastic band at top for better comfort and fit.
- Contoured fit with articulated knee.
- YKK zippered ankle opening with reflective piping.
- Only the side shin area can be fully designed on.
With the move away from more traditional elastic grippers to a non elastic system as seen in our Performance and Apex bib shorts, we started to see issues when worn with warmers... the gripper did not stay in place. This has been an issue for all manufacturers, but Champion System are again leading the way with an exclusive system we call CS Connect.
CS Connect is a band of clear injected silicone grip that is placed near the top, on the outside of the knee or leg warmer. When the bib shorts are worn with this warmer, the injected grippers connect with each other ensuring the bib shorts do not "ride up". A fantastic innovation!
